The 1960s Marked the Beginning of America’s Collapse
America was once a land of churches strong families hard work and reverence for God. The average home had a Bible on the table and a father who led with honor. But the 1960s brought a storm that hit faster than anyone could stop. What was once considered wicked was suddenly normalized. What had been sacred became something to mock.
Drugs were glorified. LSD and marijuana became symbols of so-called freedom but only led to bondage. Divorce laws changed and made it easier to walk away from your vows. Marriage was no longer a covenant but a temporary contract. Adultery was excused. Commitment became inconvenient. And the media played cheerleader to the chaos every step of the way.
Pornography spread like wildfire and no one had the backbone to stop it. Hollywood ran wild. Filth became entertainment. Standards collapsed. God was pushed out of the classroom and filth was brought into the living room. And in all of this destruction the Church stayed too silent. Many pastors were too scared to offend. They tried to stay relevant and in doing so they became irrelevant.
The Government Replaced Fathers and the Culture Replaced Truth
With the family broken the government swooped in. Not to fix anything but to control it. Welfare programs punished marriage and rewarded fatherless homes. The more broken your home the more the state gave you. This was not charity. This was control. Dependency took root and accountability died. Generations were raised to look to Washington instead of their own fathers. That is not freedom. That is bondage wearing a smile.
Then came the media. Television used to reinforce family values. Suddenly it was attacking them. Masculinity was toxic. Femininity was a curse. Religion was old fashioned. Everything was upside down. What God said was wrong the world called good. And people just accepted it.
Big Pharma joined the party too. You are depressed from the brokenness around you. Do not pray. Do not repent. Just take a pill. You feel anxious. Take a pill. Angry. Another pill. Struggling with guilt. They offer you medicine not mercy. They sell you numbness not healing. The enemy was clever. He sold sin and then sold medication to mask the pain that sin caused.
The patterns were clear. And for those of us who have read the Bible we recognized it immediately. Scripture warns repeatedly that when people forget God when they turn to pride when they abandon truth and covenants they fall. This is not a new story. It is an old one repeating itself in our own time.
The Path Forward Is Through Faith Family and Jesus
The only way out is the way back. Back to God. Back to truth. Back to strong families. Back to homes built on Christ. Not government. Not culture. Not entertainment. Not slogans. Jesus Christ is the answer. He has always been.
Fathers must lead with strength. Mothers must build homes of peace and power. Children must be raised on the Bible not on social media. The family must be the center of our resistance and the center of our faith. This is not a time for weak men or silent churches. This is a time for bold truth and holy living.
At FFFJ Alliance we do not bow to the culture. We raise a standard. A standard built on Family Faith Freedom and Jesus. If America is to be saved it will not be through Congress or the courts. It will be saved around kitchen tables where the Bible is read and the Spirit of God is welcome.
The 1960s broke this country. But God is still on the throne. And we are not done yet.
