He Thought He Was Trans — But Found Truth in Christ After a Decade of Lies

When the World Lied, Christ Told the Truth

Miles Yardley was only 15 when doctors told him he was born in the wrong body. They said he was a girl. They said hormone therapy would fix the confusion. He was never given time to grow, to pray, or to understand what was truly at stake. By his second appointment at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, they began medically transitioning him. They called him the perfect transgender child.

He was just a sensitive, artistic boy who liked to sing. But instead of being affirmed as a boy created in the image of God, the world told him to become someone else.

“They very quickly put me on hormones without really any discernment,” Miles said. “Looking back, if I were a doctor, I would think this is a much larger decision than the kid thinks that it is.”

The Devil Masquerades as Light — And the Culture Applauded

Under the name “Salomé,” Miles rose quickly in New York’s fashion world. The world praised him for his uniqueness. Designers signed him. Photographers adored him. Churches let him sing in their choirs without knowing the truth.

But his soul was quietly being destroyed.

He lived under a false identity, pretending to be what the world wanted. But inside, he was empty. Sick. Confused. Tired. Alone. The approval of man never satisfied his spirit.

“I thought that if I looked like a female, it would be easier. I didn’t want people to assume I was gay or weird. So I just went along with what they were all telling me,” he said.

He believed the lie. But truth has a way of breaking through.

The Temple of His Body Was Defiled

In 2024, Miles was diagnosed with a brain tumor and hypothyroidism. His body had been thrown into chaos by years of hormone use. His voice may have remained high, but his health was collapsing. He was sterilized, fatigued, and spiritually shattered.

“I was mentally unstable and cognitively impaired,” he admitted. “I didn’t even realize how broken I was until I stopped the hormones. I was poisoning myself.”

He had been defiled. And the doctors who once promised freedom were nowhere to be found.

“I’ve asked multiple doctors for help, and they just shrug. There’s no roadmap for getting better. Once you stop being profitable to them, they walk away.”

But God did not walk away. Christ stepped in.

He Found the Church. He Found Peace. He Found Himself.

Miles left New York and moved to California to start over. He began reading Scripture. He returned to Mass. He prayed. And for the first time in a decade, he saw clearly.

“I realized that I had shut myself off from the normal things that give people meaning. I couldn’t have children. I couldn’t marry. I couldn’t be a husband. I couldn’t be a father. I had made myself less than whole.”

But in the house of God, he began to heal.

He started a band. He cut his hair. He speaks openly now about how Jesus is restoring what the enemy tried to steal. He’s preparing for a life of either marriage or celibacy, according to God’s will. But most of all, he is learning to live again as a man — the man God created him to be.

Parents, Wake Up. This Is a Spiritual War.

The devil is not hiding. He is targeting your sons and daughters through media, schools, hospitals, and even churches. He offers identity without repentance. Pleasure without purpose. Affirmation without truth.

The lie of transgenderism is not medical care. It is spiritual confusion. And it is leaving a generation of young people scarred, sterile, and suicidal.

Miles’ story is a warning. But it is also a testimony.

He has joined the growing legal battle against gender clinics. He is suing Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for malpractice. More than 20 other clinics and doctors are under investigation. Many countries are banning these procedures altogether. The truth is rising.

Christ Is the Only Way Out

“If you’re a gender-nonconforming kid, you should be allowed to be yourself,” Miles said. “You can be a boy who likes singing and dancing. That doesn’t mean you’re a girl.”

It means you’re a human being. Made by God. Loved by Christ. And not meant to be mutilated for the sake of money or ideology.

Let this story be a call to repentance for a nation that has lost its way.

Let it be a reminder that Jesus heals what the world destroys.

Let it be a charge to the Church to rise up and protect the children.

Because God does not make mistakes. But this world does.
